CHANGING LIVES THROUGH THEATRE
The main focus behind Theatre for Life CIC is to provide young people with real experiences within the Performing Arts through subsidised industry led workshops, free youth and community theatre projects.
We work with young people aged 14-25 years old from the most disadvantaged communities in Southampton to create inspiring and engaging opportunities within the arts.
Placing our theatre makers at the centre of our work enables them to become confident artists, whilst improving wellbeing and career development in the arts, changing lives through the medium of theatre.
We are committed to being an inclusive and diverse organisation, embracing everyone's story through our storytelling and creation of original work.
in 2019 Theatre for Life CIC Youth Theatre was selected as a partner organisation and venue.

The grant of £37,500 will support free participation in workshops and auditions over three years at 30 schools and youth groups around Great Britain which have lost drama provision.
